A customer writing on BuildZoom in June 2015 described Karen Carter finding the source of a moisture problem that had stymied two other carpenters. We’ve used Karen Carter Carpentry for a variety of work, from smaller projects (installing Solatubes and a solar-powered attic fan) to larger projects (locating and remediating major leaks to completely renovating a three season porch). Karen excels at forensic/detective work—in one project, figuring out the source of a moisture problem that had stymied two other carpenters. She knows her materials, has an excellent design sense, and all of her work is exacting and meticulous. Aside from the quality of her product, she’s a pleasure to work with. She knows when to ask good questions, listens well, and enjoys a give-and-take over options. Having worked with other contractors over the years, Karen Carter Carpentry is the only company we use now, and we recommend her without reservation.
