KD Associates Inc

In March 2026, a Burlington commenter on r/burlington wrote that after finding a leak behind their washing machine, KD Associates did a thorough mold inspection and indoor air quality test and helped pinpoint the moisture source. The South Burlington company's own site names asbestos, mold, lead paint and indoor air quality problems as its work, and it says it has been in business 40 years. In an April 2026 Google review, a customer said Joe did a professional, thorough mold inspection in Burlington, and a March 2026 reviewer who also worked with Joe called him kind, knowledgeable and patient with someone new to mold. In a December 2025 review, a customer said KD Associates handled asbestos testing during a home renovation, was responsive by email, laid out the price options for the company collecting samples versus the customer collecting them, and returned results quickly. In a September 2022 r/burlington comment, a customer said KD Associates tested the vermiculite insulation in their attic and removed it all. Another commenter in that 2022 thread said they had paid anywhere from $500 to $1,300 for testing, depending on how many samples were taken, and that the work was usually done within the next few days. A 2023 r/burlington commenter put the cost of an air quality and thermal imaging check at about $450 the last time they had it done. In an April 2026 one-star review, a tenant wrote that their subfloor was black but tested negative for mold, and that the site evaluator, Dillon, did not write it up in his report, leaving them nothing actionable for the landlord. In June 2026, a Google reviewer wrote that they have worked with Brian, Jen and John for years and could not do their work legally in the state without them.
