A May 2025 reviewer said Joe showed up on time and paid close attention to maneuvering the truck into the yard. In March 2025 a reviewer signing from Niantic wrote that Joe "had everything corrected in no time flat," and another customer that month said Joe pumped their tank in time for a family event. Also in March 2025, one customer wrote that the company inspected and repaired their septic and that Dave was knowledgeable, and another described a thorough camera inspection of their system. An April 2025 reviewer wrote that the company had been maintaining three separate systems, including a grease trap, at a retail center in Madison. In a May 2022 review, a customer who had called other septic companies before Memorial Day weekend wrote that Arlette called back within an hour and, within 15 minutes, said the truck would be there before noon; the reviewer also praised Kevin. In a December 2021 review, a reviewer closing on a new home wrote that their septic inspection had been delayed by events beyond Arlette's control, and that with less than a day left before the deadline Arlette made sure they received the report. In an October 2025 review, a customer who hired the company to pump their tank in April wrote that the truck came a day later than scheduled without contacting them and that the service tech cracked one of the tank covers. Arthur came to look at the lid once and said he could provide a replacement, but nearly six months later, the reviewer wrote, the cover had not been replaced and their calls and emails brought no actual service. The same reviewer wrote that Kelley does a fine job of pumping. In January 2025 a customer wrote that the driver destroyed their mailbox backing out of the driveway without saying a word and drove on the lawn, and that months of emails and calls went unanswered. In an April 2024 review, a customer wrote that when they called at 1:00 on the day of a scheduled pumping they were told of an equipment problem and promised the next day, and then they no-showed; a January 2024 reviewer wrote that they never showed up for an appointment to drain the tank. In February 2026 a customer called the service fair and affordable but said communication could be better at times. A July 2026 reviewer wrote they would never recommend Kelley as long as it is affiliated with Engineering septic and sewer.
I would never recommend them as long as there affiliated with Engineering septic and sewer. If you have a problem and that's who they recommend find another company. Save yourself a huge headache.
Fair and affordable. Could use better communication at times but no complaints
We hired Kelley Septic to pump our septic tank in April. They showed up late and caused damage to our tank which has still not been fixed after six months. The truck showed up a day later than scheduled, without contacting us. It turned out to not be a big deal, since we were home the following day as well, but was not very professional. Of much greater concern is that the service tech cracked one of the covers to our septic tank during the process. We didn't notice until after he was gone, when we went to fill in the holes. We contacted Kelley about it the next day, requesting an evaluation of the damage and a replacement cover if needed. It has now been nearly six months and the cover is still not replaced. We have contacted them countless times via phone and email. My husband even drove to their listed address to try to speak to someone in person, but it's just an equipment parking lot, there is no office or personnel on site. Occasionally we get a return call, but no actual service. Arthur did come look at the lid once, and said he could provide a replacement, but nothing since then. We still have this open hole in our front garden, waiting for them to fix the damage they caused. In short, it seems that Kelley does a fine job of pumping out your septic tank, but their communication and service for anything beyond that is abysmal. We will probably have to get another company to fix the broken lid before winter, because that's essential before we get into freezing weather, and we will definitely seek an alternate provider in the future.
Joe was just here to pump our septic tank and install risers and caps. Joe is a great ambassador for the company--he is hard working, polite, and friendly.
Joe showed up on time. He paid very good attention to maneuvering the truck into the yard. He was congenial and helpful. He did an excellent job of servicing the system. From start to finish #1. Would highly recommend.
