Kennedy Painting is a Quincy, MA outfit built around one name homeowners keep repeating: Brian. Across 25 Angi reviews running from late 2023 to now, the same details recur — a quote that shows up when promised, a crew that cleans up every night, and jobs finished on the day Brian said they would. Angi's own profile lists 36 years of experience and puts the business at a 5.0-star average across 101 ratings. What people hire Kennedy Painting for isn't just walls. In a 2026 review, a homeowner had Brian's crew repaint dark trim — columns, windows, doors, baseboard — white throughout a 100-year-old house, repairing some damage along the way to keep it looking even. In a 2025 review, a client described a five-day job that included stripping and repainting wallpaper and repairing walls across a living room, dining room, and two hallways. And in a 2023 review, Brian's team installed sheetrock and drywall and repainted a Boston apartment after a flood. Pricing comes up often and consistently on the fair side: in a 2025 review, a homeowner who collected three quotes said Brian's was the least expensive; in a 2024 review, a triplex owner in Dorchester who solicited other bids called Brian's pricing very reasonable. Cabinet work shows up repeatedly too — kitchen cabinets, bay windows and full-room repaints, in reviews from 2024 through late 2025, are consistently called precise and detailed. There isn't a documented complaint anywhere in the record — all 25 reviews on file are five stars, including the five written in the past six months. For anyone in the Quincy or South Shore area weighing a full-house repaint, a stubborn trim job, or something adjacent like drywall repair or wallpaper removal, this is worth a call — get a written quote and confirm the current schedule, since Brian personally runs the crew and the jobs described here often ran several days.

Brian and the Kennedy Painting team did a fantastic job on our house! Brian was prompt with his quote and thoroughly explained everything that needed to be done. He was very transparent about pricing throughout the process. The final paint job came out fantastic and our house looks great. Highly recommend the Kennedy Painting team for any painting project!
Brian and crew did a great job painting our house - on time and in budget.
Brian and his team were great to work with. Very supportive and communicative and job went well!
Very efficient, great work
I had Brian and his team paint all of the dark brown trim white in our 100 year old house (there's an insane amount of trim including columns, windows, doors, baseboard, etc.). It came out spectacularly. They did an amazing job and I can't believe how much lighter and bigger the house feels because of it. I really appreciated the attention to detail they had because the trim is pretty detailed with some weird shapes (and had a lot of wear and tear). They repaired some of the damage while painting to keep everything looking even as well. I really appreciate the time and effort they put in. I also appreciated how clean they kept our house and furniture while doing the job because we were still staying in the house during the project. The painters had a pretty good sense of humor too which made it a comfortable experience.
