A light switch stopped working, so a recent Google customer called Kenney Electrical Services. He arrived exactly on time, fixed the problem and charged a price the customer called very reasonable, then pointed out a chandelier drawing more wattage than its outlet was designed to handle and explained how to remedy it. The company says it has been in business 18 years, and its website lists a service area of Ridgefield, Danbury, Bethel, Newtown, Brookfield, Norwalk, Stamford, Westport and Fairfield. The site names electrical wiring, lighting installation and upgrades, panel and circuit breaker work, new construction wiring, and generator and smoke detector installation. A 2026 Google reviewer named Jason as the owner. A 2026 customer said Jason Kenney and his team planned and completed the electrical work for a primary bathroom remodel, including the wiring, lighting, a fan/heater and lighted mirrors. A 2026 Google reviewer said the company did all the electrical work on their addition. In a 2024 Angi review, a customer described a job of 40 recessed ceiling lights, a new panel and electricity to a detached garage; Jason Kenny gave the slightly lowest of three quotes, and the work took a good 3 days. A 2023 customer said Jason's price for installing ceiling fans beat four other quotes by about $500. In a 2021 review, a customer said electricity had to be cut to the home at 9 PM after Eversource called the wires too dangerous, Jason Kenny would not leave them in the cold and dark overnight, and they had power back by 11 PM. A 2021 customer said Jason ran a line from the garage electrical panel to a second-floor bathroom without running cable outside the house. HomeAdvisor shows 4.9 stars from 60 ratings, and Google shows 4.6 from 10. A 2022 Google reviewer gave one star and wrote: "Wouldn't get back to me."
