Khoury Stump Grinding

Khoury Stump Grinding does one thing — stumps — and holds 5 stars from 106 ratings on Google. On its website, the company says George Khoury has been in the stump grinding business for over 15 years with his brother Patrick, and that it is currently contracted by the towns of Plymouth, East Bridgewater and Randolph for stump grinding. Speed is what people describe. One customer called George on a Monday afternoon and says he was there Tuesday morning. One customer says George came out the same day they called to give a quote, and the stumps were gone the next day. A customer who had seven trees removed says George completely removed all the stumps and cleaned up the wood chips, and they were able to plant grass afterward. One customer needed a large stump moved rather than ground and says they brought a tractor and moved it. One customer says George did a stump they thought wasn't possible, because it was too close to a large rock, as a freebie. A 2025 customer said they called George on a Thursday, he quoted 16 stumps on Saturday, and he was in the yard Monday at 8:20 a.m. and finished before 10 a.m. In a 2024 review, a customer said they left the grass unharmed and the site cleaner than when they started. A 2023 customer said George gave an estimate Sunday morning after a Saturday afternoon call, and the work was complete when they came home from work Monday. A 2022 customer said Patrick Khoury, hired by the City of Quincy to grind two stumps on the parkway along their property, shielded their yard from flying wood chips and asphalt fragments and came to the door to say the city crew would be by to clean up.
