Kitchen Advantage

Kitchen Advantage is a cabinetry and kitchen design business. Its website says it brings design guidance, planning and professional installation to kitchen renovations, new cabinetry and bathroom remodels from its North Haven and Glastonbury locations, and the company says it has been in business 18 years. A recent customer said a kitchen with white inset cabinets was designed and installed in Madison, CT. A recent Houzz reviewer said the company helped redesign the kitchen and open it into the dining room, with new cabinets and hardware. A recent customer wrote that a kitchen designed and installed in Old Lyme, CT in 2017 still looked fresh when the home was sold. A 2025 customer said the designer, Chellie, measured the kitchen, developed plans and revised them several times, and that Brian installed flush inset cabinets of painted maple and later a subway tile backsplash. That 2025 customer called the cost for the consultation, cabinets and labor reasonable. A 2022 customer remodeling a kitchen in Hamden, CT said the designer uncovered possible interference with heating units and door openings, and that the installer, Brian, created the duct work for an OTR microwave. A 2022 customer gave a different account: they said the company did not do any installation and that they used their own contractor. That 2022 customer found the cabinets a little overpriced and said cabinet panels ordered after the install was under way added a couple thousand dollars. The same 2022 customer said they had a hard time getting anyone to call back about cabinets with some defects. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0705128, as active, held by Kitchen Advantage.
