In October 2026 a Google reviewer thanked Huma at Kitchen & Flooring Depot, the Newington, Connecticut showroom at 2434 Berlin Tpke, for being available to answer questions "throughout the entire process until my kitchen was completed." In May 2026 Fozia helped a customer rebuild a kitchen after water damage destroyed it, with everything from cabinetry and countertops to hardware talked through. Earlier that month another customer hired the company to remodel a kitchen and upgrade the cabinets, and in June 2026 a Newington customer wrote that the new cabinets, countertops and workmanship made the house look much nicer. The company's Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0652129, is active on the state registry under Kitchen & Flooring Depot LLC. In a December 2024 review, a couple wrote that they visited many businesses before choosing this one to remodel their kitchen, and that Huma used their kitchen measurements in her showroom to replicate one tricky area they were struggling with. A January 2022 customer said cabinets, countertops and backsplash were delivered and installed on time in the middle of the pandemic's supply chain problems, with Fozia handling multiple major changes to the design. That same month a homeowner who had lived since 1990 with the same "1950's vinyl kitchen," red counters and all, credited Fozia with helping design everything "down to every little detail." In August 2022 Huma worked up multiple versions of one customer's mudroom cabinets. In an October 2024 one-star Google review, a customer wrote that "the install went wrong": the installers had to cut the pantry to make it fit, and the reviewer found more scratches, dents and screw holes in the cabinets than they could keep track of. Fazia sent the installers back to patch some of the issues, but when the customer called about the screw holes after close to a week without hearing back, Hima raised her voice and the customer hung up. A December 2021 one-star review said the company used outside contractors for the cabinet and countertop installs; the cabinet installers took the plumbing apart unnecessarily, costing the customer an extra $350 to put back, and the customer was told Kitchen and Flooring Depot would do nothing about it. The same reviewer wrote that the countertop contractor would not do the job unless they could park on a new driveway, and cited dents in the new cabinets and the wall and a 1.5-hour late arrival.
