BuildZoom shows 32 permitted projects, twenty of them in the last three years, with a typical permit value around $35,223 and jobs running from $5,000 to $250,000. Kitchen remodels dominate. Among them: a $139,032 Medfield kitchen renovation that removed a wall between kitchen and dining room and installed a calculated, stamped beam carrying loads down to lally columns in the basement, permitted in January 2025; a $123,125 storm-damage house renovation in Sharon in July 2024 covering rewiring, plumbing, insulation and finishes; and a $60,645 Milton kitchen remodel marked final in July 2025. The written reviews are few but strong and consistent. All five date from February 2024 and all are five stars. A kitchen client on a $140,000 job wrote that communication, budget, timelines and the end result all exceeded expectations. Another described hiring Kris on recommendations, then hiring him again for a basement after the kitchen came out well, and noted he worked with the architect to fix a design issue before it became a problem and with the town and inspectors on permit compliance. A bathroom client had him back for a built-in closet. The clear thing to check before hiring is the registration. The state registry confirms Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor licence 171813 in the company's name, but records it as expired; BuildZoom last saw it with a July 2026 expiry date. A second registration, 140848, is inactive and was at one point cancelled. For residential home improvement work in Massachusetts a current HIC registration matters — it is what gives a homeowner access to the state Guaranty Fund — and this company is actively pulling permits on large jobs. For a Bristol or Norfolk County homeowner planning a kitchen, this is an experienced, permit-compliant builder with a genuinely good if thin review record. Ask to see a current Home Improvement Contractor registration in writing before signing anything.
