Mike Salois has been running M.G. Its BBB profile carries an A+ grade, without accreditation. The written reviews are few, but they run long. In a 2021 review, a homeowner who said they had talked to a lot of contractors before choosing him described a dilapidated attached garage he tore down, and called his prices reasonable and his crew professional. The one recent account, posted in July 2026, comes from a customer whose sunroom he built more than 16 years earlier: a roof problem turned up, and they say he came out and had it fixed within a couple of days. Coming back for a job that old is the through-line here. The permit trail is a remodeler's rather than a specialist's. This is a one-truck outfit doing rooms and additions, not a crew you'd hand a whole-house build to on a deadline. On licensing, go in informed. BuildZoom lists an active Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#178090) and a construction supervisor licence (#CSFA-056162), both labelled as verified by that site — a directory's claim, not a confirmation. It also lists an older home improvement registration (#112571) as inactive and at one point cancelled. Ask him for the number he is working under now and check it at the Office of Consumer Affairs before signing. One more thing to square: Google's 4.0 average across four ratings sits under the three five-star reviews that carry text, so at least one customer rated him lower without writing why. For a bath, a kitchen or an addition around Rehoboth and Dighton, he is a credible call — confirm the current registration and get the scope and schedule in writing.
