Ray is stellar! My wife and I are under contract on a 100+ year old farm house, so the inspection was a very critical step for us. He did an amazing job explaining everything so we could make an informed decision and helping weigh the pros and cons. He was thorough and took his time and explained what he was looking for and why. With a 100+ year old house, some flaws were bound to pop up, and Ray did a great job explaining what could be done about it.

Ray was amazing. We just bought a new home as first time home buyers and waived inspection. We wanted piece of mind and information on the home. He went through and looked at everything. Ray came recommended by our realtor and after speaking to him on the phone for some general questions about a house we were considering at the time, I knew we would proceed with him as our general home inspector. He did not hesitate to answer all of our questions and provided detailed explanations. Eventually when our offer was accepted on a home, I emailed Ray on a Friday evening looking to schedule an inspection the next Wednesday and he responded within an hour or two and everything was scheduled quickly. The day of the inspection, he arrived ahead of schedule and encouraged us to ask every question we have as we went through the house together. As first time home buyers we had a lot of questions and he was always polite, humorous, and knowledgeable at answering them. We shadowed him the entire inspection and felt confident knowing the condition of the home as we talked about each of the major systems. He provided maintenance tips that would help increase the longevity of our homes' features that can save us money down the road. The report detailed all the major items we talked about during the inspection with notes. In addition, we asked for water testing for just lead and he charged us a reduced cost compared to the comprehensive test. We were very pleased to work with Ray.
