Little Bee Home Inspections is the kind of company people hire when they want the inspection to double as a lesson in the house. On Google, it has 43 ratings at 5 stars, and review after review centers on Scott Napier walking buyers through what he sees, answering questions clearly, and following up with a detailed report. The company says it is owner-operated by Scott Napier in Londonderry and handles residential home inspections and building consultations for buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents; Scott Napier's New Hampshire home inspector license is active. The written comments run from 2021 through this month, and they are unusually specific about the job itself. Recent reviewers describe him fitting in an inspection for 8 a.m. the morning after a 5 p.m. call, patiently showing a first-time homeowner what needed attention without talking down to them, and explaining how problems arise and how to address them. In a March 2026 review, a customer who sends clients to him said he had been their go-to inspector for more than six years and had trusted him on their own home; in a September 2024 review, a buyer in Newton said a fast pre-offer inspection and detailed report helped them decide what to do next. The through-line is pace without a rushed feeling. Customers keep mentioning quick booking, early arrivals, room-by-room explanations, and reports detailed enough to use after the walk-through is over. Several first-time buyers say that mattered as much as the findings themselves. The thing to sort out before booking is scope. The company says it also offers new-construction, wood-destroying-insect, radon, water-quality, and mold inspections, and reviews mention pre-offer work, so ask which service fits your situation and whether extra testing is included or separate. If your purchase is moving fast, also pin down the inspection date and report turnaround you need, since quick scheduling is part of why people call him. He makes the most sense for buyers who want a hands-on walkthrough and a report they can keep using after closing. Confirm the inspection type, any add-on testing, and the timeline up front, then decide if that explanatory style is what you want during a home purchase.
Scott was fantastic to work with! I am a first-time homeowner and Scott showed me everything I would need to know regarding my new home without making me feel dumb or belittled. He is very thorough and friendly. Highly highly recommend!
Im not one to rant and rave about services on google but... I have to because we couldn't be more satisfied with Scotts quality of service and knowledge! We called at 5pm and he managed to fit us in at 8am the next day! Have to say hands down when you call Scott you will get the most thorough inspection report! Scott is real good people, its getting harder to find that these days. Don't hesitate give him a call and see for yourself!
Not only has Scott been a go-to home inspector for my clients for 6+ years, but he has also done my personal home inspection. He is incredibly thorough and very helpful explaining how issues arise, how to fix them, and everything in between. We are so grateful for his expertise, and for helping us feel like we have clarity on exactly what we are buying and what we should prioritize. I couldn’t recommend him more!
Scott has been great to work with. Very observant and knows his stuff! I would recommend him for any and all of your inspection needs.
Scott was great! He was friendly, thorough and patiently explained everything. Being able to walk through and ask him questions was really important to us. We recommend him highly.
