KRANE Homes is the storefront side of a Dracut contracting family. The Lowell Sun covered the ribbon-cutting in August 2023, naming Kendra and Teddy Men as the owners, with Lowell's mayor, a Dracut selectman and a member of the town's economic development committee in the photo — an opening the town turned out for. The company describes itself as a general contractor doing home remodeling — kitchens, cabinets, hardware and bathrooms — for residential and commercial clients in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and says it has been at that work about eight years. Dracut's town news fills in the backstory: the couple already ran Men Construction, and KRANE is that business moving under a new name. KRANE's own site still calls Men Construction its parent company. One thing to settle before signing: the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration on the state registry under Krane Homes LLC, number 207583, has expired. Ask whether it has been renewed before any residential work starts, and confirm which of the two names — KRANE Homes or Men Construction — the contract will actually carry. Nothing written by a past customer under the KRANE name has surfaced, so this is a starting point rather than a verdict.
