Patios, stone stairs, drainage and outdoor kitchens feature in customers' descriptions of Krefta Landscaping's work. The North Billerica company says it is family-owned, was founded by Edson Krefta in March 2005 and serves Eastern Massachusetts. Its stated service area includes Lexington, Concord, Wellesley, Newton and Andover. In an August 2025 Google review, one customer described granite front steps and a herringbone brick path, saying the home's buyers later singled out the front hardscaping as a selling point. Another reviewer that month described more than ten years of service, including two major landscaping projects and irrigation maintenance. A June 2025 reviewer described two custom-shaped patios, an outdoor fireplace, tree removal, landscaping and lighting. The customer said Edson and the design team used 3D images to help settle the design and that the crew met the timeline through difficult weather. Drainage jobs also drew specific praise. A July 2025 reviewer said the company relocated a sump-pump discharge at a Wellesley home and blended the result into the landscaping. An October 2024 reviewer described a drainage installation completed the same day as promised, with office updates about the contract and scheduling. A customer writing in October 2022 described a larger landscape and hardscape project involving planting beds, irrigation changes, paver paths and stone steps; diverting downspouts into an underground drain resolved flooding beside a path. Communication drew mixed accounts. An August 2025 customer said the team returned to review its work and make fixes. A customer writing in August 2022 praised a pergola, patio and stonework but said they often had to call or text to get things done promptly and wanted better communication from Edson. In June 2022, another reviewer complained that the company would not inspect the proposed job before the customer obtained and shared other contractors' prices. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration for Krefta. Its BBB grade also needs care: an August 2026 listing gave an A+, while a September 2026 profile described the business as not rated and not accredited.
