Kyle Bloomstein

Kyle is a really nice man and a talented carpenter. However, a bathroom remodel he was scheduled to complete in about 3 weeks took 2 months. His charge was a third over the contract price. He did not keep us updated on billing problems as time marched on. After the job was done he wanted us to pay an additional plumbing bill that came in late to him for a few hundred — we’d told him in advance we would not pay it. He went away angry. He bills for apprentices at his own rate and he wastes a great deal of time chitchatting with the assistants - much of which talk has nothing to do with the job at hand. The bathroom was done well but the billing and scheduling were highly unsatisfactory. We just completed a second bathroom for about half Kyle’s contract price with someone else - ahead of schedule and under the contract price. It can be done!

Kyle recently did a full bathroom remodel for us, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. He was open minded about my somewhat odd design style, and provided great guidance on the optimal materials and layout for functionality first while still working in my aesthetic. He also was a pleasure to work with and finished the project ahead of schedule. I would recommend Kyle without any hesitation!

FANTASTIC!!!!! Where to even begin to describe how awesome this man is. We were living with a 1970's bathroom and we needed it renovated. Kyle was very professional. He showed up to discuss the job, was very interested in what we wanted out of the renovation. My wife is not the "box store, cookie cutter, same as everybody else" as far as taste goes. She is an artist and she likes many "out of the box" items and ideas. Kyle literally placed every single thing in this bathroom that she wanted. From the bird tiled shower to the swan, that's right, swan sink faucets. He didn't try to talk her out of it, but instead greatly appreciated the artful expression she wanted to create in her home. He sat at our computer and helped us pick things out and discussed how they would go in, if there would be additional cost, etc. We are so pleased and very happy to show off our bathroom to friends and family now. I highly advise anyone looking to do any work on their home to consider hiring him. Thanks Kyle!!!! Jason Crowell

👍

I myself have seen his work and it is impeccable. Always on time and shows me true craftsmanship. His kitchen remodels shows the use of different materials.
