LaFrance Septic Services

A septic leak that left a customer unable to use the bathroom or shower brought LaFrance to the site within an hour, according to a May 2026 Google review. The customer credited Justin and the dispatch team with that response and described troubleshooting, pump-system replacement, a new alarm, and cleanup. LaFrance Septic Services operates from Salem, New Hampshire. Its website describes the business as a division of CB LaFrance Contracting, offering pumping, inspections, camera work, septic-component repairs, line jetting, and emergency call-outs. Google lists a 4.9-star average from 93 ratings. Recent customers describe both maintenance and urgent work. A July 2026 reviewer reported new covers and tank pumping. Another July customer, using a septic system for the first time, said the team arrived when promised, inspected the system, explained recommended actions without pressure, and charged a fair price. A May reviewer said Justin answered questions during the initial phone call; when Chris came to pump the tank, he welcomed questions and suggested ways to keep the system running smoothly. An August reviewer thanked Chris for help with an emergency backup on a weekend. Older accounts describe installation and follow-up work. In a June 2022 review, a homeowner credited Chris and his team with a complicated septic installation, explanations throughout the work, photographs, and a detailed final invoice. A March 2025 reviewer described clearing a blockage despite an inlet beneath concrete under deck stairs. Winter initially prevented installation of a new inlet cover; the customer said LaFrance kept in touch and later returned to install it. A January 2026 reviewer said LaFrance answered a Sunday call right away, but nobody was available to come out immediately. Justin then guided checks of the water levels and effluent filter. Those checks did not drain the system enough to resolve the problem without pumping. The reviewer appreciated the attempt to help. A May 2026 Reddit commenter recommended LaFrance out of Salem while saying the company had been booked far ahead the last time they used it. Separately, a November 2023 Google reviewer said a message requesting service had gone unanswered for a week.
