Lakeside Trading describes itself on Houzz as a source for custom outdoor storage, with a showroom and display yard in Narragansett stocked with over 50 new and used sheds, pergolas and pavilions. A 2020 Houzz reviewer said their family had bought five sheds from Lakeside Trading, two of them garages, and that a couple of them required cement footings, which Lakeside Trading did as well. A 2020 reviewer who bought a used shed off the back lot said they arranged for the company to hold it over the winter and deliver it in early spring. On delivery day, that 2020 reviewer wrote, a trailer with hydraulics threaded the shed into a spot at the end of the driveway with only inches of clearance on either side, and it was still level and holding up after a year. A 2020 customer said everything was custom built per their choices, delivered and installed within the time frame quoted, and that Lakeside delivered it to their new home after an unexpected move to another town. A 2020 reviewer said the shed was set up when promised and that they leveled off the area where it would be placed. A 2020 customer said the guys took the time to make sure the shed was positioned properly. A 2020 customer who picked a she shed off the lot for gardening tools called delivery and installation smooth and exactly as promised. Its BBB grade is A+. A 2024 Reddit commenter on r/RhodeIsland described Lakeside Trading as a business that just orders sheds from a different manufacturer and delivers them.
“rather than the likes of Lakeside Trading who just orders sheds from a different manufacturer and delivers them”
Excellent value. Solid sheds. A fair price and fast delivery. We highly recommend. We will be buying more for sure.
This is the 5th shed my family has purchased from Lakeside Trading, Two of them were garages. All 5 experiences have been superb from the purchase to delivery. A couple of them required cement footings which Lakeside Trading did as well, the crew they have is great. Can't say enough good about them, pleasure to deal with!
I bought a used shed from Lakeside Trading a little over a year ago. I was on the fence between buying new or used - their new sheds are quite nice. But I lucked into finded just what I wanted used on their back lot. Took a bunch of measurements and then decided to go for it. I paid for the shed and we made a deal for them to hold it for me over the winter, and to deliver it in early sping, as I had a lot of work to do to make a spot for it. Everything went really smoothly on delivery day - they had this really interesting trailer with crazy hydraulics and a second set of wheels at a 90 degree angle - they were able to thread the shed into a spot at the end of my driveway with only inches of clearance on either side. Everything is nice and level, and it's holding up quite nicely after a year of service. My motorcycle loves its home. If I ever need anything like this again, Lakeside Trading would definitely be my first stop. PS: Also, they have a lot of interested lawn art for sale inside their main building. They had a life-sized giraffe sculpture when I was there, for example. Fun!
What a great experience. Everything was custom built per our choices, delivered and installed within the time frame quoted. We ended up unexpectedly moving to another town and like it was effortless Lakeside delivered it to my new home. Top notch company. I highly recommend!
Good customer service, delivered in a timely manner, set up and done when they said it would be. All in all good first time customer experience Leveled off the area the shed would be placed in and did a great job.
