LaMontagne Builders is a Bedford, New Hampshire home builder that says it has offered homes for sale since 1964. The company develops planned communities, builds custom and move-in-ready homes, and offers a home design center and homeowner warranty. Robert S. LaMontagne is identified as president. The recent written review history is mixed. In 2023, some homeowners praised the quality and neighborhoods of their homes, while another reported poor insulation and sound privacy. A 2025 reviewer said the builders did not follow commitments. An undated Houzz account describes the company offering repair options and a credit after a staircase staining mistake, while another account reports defects, basement water, and responsiveness concerns. Before booking, confirm the exact home, construction scope, warranty terms, completion commitments, and how defects or water issues will be handled. The company’s public materials cover new-home development and general contracting more clearly than a standalone waterproofing service. An OSHA mention reports an inspection with two citations and proposed penalties, so prospective buyers should ask about current site-safety practices and the specific project team.

LaMontagne builders are very interestingly cheap in their building. We moved into one of their buildings less than 2 tears ago. The house is like no insulation. The its loud that no room privacy at all. You literally can hear everything going on in all rooms just by sitting on first floor. If anyone is making any slight movement in the house or any room you can hear them from every room. You would think since they are new buildings they could be any better but unfortunately not. I genuinely regret my selling my old house though small but it was a home not what I live in now. The space is big but annoying that you can't sleep in a room if people are awake in any other rooms. If someone is in restrooms, you can literally hear all the noise and business from next door . For example if I'm in my restroom my kids can hear me loud and clear. Very shameful! Basement, they placed one of the support poles in the middle of the basement wasting space. They doors are all hanging like bathrooms doors in public restrooms. Their stoves was just a cheap thing with very poor quality. On my lawn. They had promised to do the grass seeding which they put but never grew. We requested for reseeding but they didn't do it though they promised. Genuinely if I had to it over I would not go with LaMontagne builders. Imagine leaving in a new house without good insulation. My previous 1956 home was better quality. Planning to buy a new home think twice before selecting LaMontagne builders
Two thumbs up
I love my home!
The houses are quality homes and are in great neighborhoods where you can raise a family.
