The customer said a two-week job stretched past eight months, that they paid the quoted amount in full and were asked for more before a quarter of the work was done, and that they eventually hired another contractor. They also said Larry agreed to repairs and a refund, then missed appointments and ultimately said he could not refund the money. The reviewer described seeking help from the BBB, the Attorney General's Office and court. That was the customer's account of seeking recourse. A September 2021 Google reviewer had a different experience: they praised the work, said Larry charged what he quoted, and described him helping with additional household tasks while doing contracted work. An August 2021 reviewer, however, said two attempts to arrange an estimate ended without a callback.
