LAVELLE & CO. PAINTING

In a June 2023 Google review, a Lavelle & Co. Painting customer who had the interior of their home painted about a year earlier said the paint was peeling, drips were found all over the house, holes they had been promised would be filled were not, and their attempt to discuss it was ignored. Lavelle & Co. Painting is a Wayland interior and exterior painting company that says it has served greater Boston and eastern Massachusetts for more than 25 years. Most of its customers wrote on Angi between 2016 and 2021, and several name Mike or Michael Lavelle. In an October 2016 Angi review, a customer who had bought a house more than 300 years old said Mike's crew restored the exterior, with many carpentry and exterior repairs alongside the painting; the job ended up well above the quote, but the crew explained what they were finding as they went. A June 2021 reviewer said Mike was professional in his initial walk-through and quote and his staff was prompt and efficient on interior walls. A June 2016 reviewer said Michael Lavelle inspected the site after a job was finished. Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.8★ from 10 ratings, and Google 4.2★ from 6. The BBB grade is A+. BuildZoom lists licence number 155913 for the company.
