Lawn Barber Lawncare holds 3.4 stars from 8 Google ratings. A 2026 customer said Cliff had plowed for them for 3 years. That 2026 customer said a 9:22 pm message promised he would be there between 5 and 5:30, then he never showed up nor responded to texts, and they were out shoveling at 5:45 and late to work. The same 2026 customer said a sub came on a Sunday evening and charged double for what was called 2 feet of snow, which the customer put at 16 inches, and that the single pass left the driveway very tight. A 2025 customer who used them for lawn care and snow removal for about a year asked for stone beside the house and sent Cliff a picture showing where the plants were. In that 2025 account, Torrie and "another guy" showed up with the stones and covered most of the plants; Torrie bought 4 new plants and promised hostas that never came. The 2025 customer also said texts to Cliff and Torrie before a January snowstorm went unanswered, and that service ended with no warning. A 2022 customer asked Cliff to answer his phone after waiting 3 weeks. A 2023 Google reviewer wrote: "These guys are good, and fast too."
Unreliable. We have had Cliff do our plowing for 3 years. Last year he was unreliable and this year’s second chance has proven worse. Excuses, arriving late, or not responding at all has been difficult. When you need to get to work and the communication at 9:22 pm is “I’ll be there between 5-5:30 to get you out” and then he never shows up nor responds to texts. At 5:45 we were out shoveling and I was late to work. We’ve been very good, patient, and understanding customers. We are very disappointed. He had a sub come Sunday evening who charged us “double because it’s 2 feet of snow” ( 16 inches in reality). When brought to his attention he said essentially that we were lucky he didn’t charge us double what he did. What he was suggesting would have been $400 for a single plowing which was not done well and only one pass so the driveway is very tight. Unbelievable.
Was using them for lawncare & snow removal for about a year. I wanted some stone added to the landscaping by the side of my home. A variety of plants were already there. I sent a pic to Cliff showing him where the plants were since it was May & not all of them had come up yet. Which he either forgot or ignored. His partner, Torrie & another guy showed up with the stones & completely covered most of the plants. After I asked them what happened to my plants? Out of guilt Torrie went & bought 4 new plants & promised new hostas. I kept them to continue doing the lawncare for the summer/fall. Each week came & went-with no new hostas. By then it was July & nothing could be planted. Was told the hostas could be replaced this spring. On Jan 20 this year there was a snowstorm. I had texted Cliff on Jan 19 to let him know that I needed to leave by a certain time. No response. The next morning -Jan 20-I still had not received a response. I texted again. No response. I am now in a panic because I need to get out of my driveway. I texted Torrie twice. No response. Basically I got the blowoff from the both of them then trying to figure out at last minute how I am going to get out of my driveway to get to my appointment on time. Since then I have texted Torrie twice telling her that they still owe me for the hostas that they covered with stone. I have been ignored. The last time I saw them was in November for fall cleanup. I am not sure what happened since everything seemed fine then. I was never told that they were not going to be providing services anymore. I just got the blow off with no warning. So now I have to find a replacement for lawncare/snow & I am out the hostas they never replaced. Unfortunately I am unable to post the before & after pictures so people can see what they did-to which they are not taking any responsibility for. This is not the way to treat your customers.
