LeBlanc Oil is a heating oil dealer whose stated service area runs through Southbridge, Sturbridge, Webster, Charlton and nearby towns. In a 2024 review, a customer said it replaced a roughly 50-year-old oil tank with a new Granby double-wall tank, arriving at 9am and finishing by about 2pm, and that the installers had to cut the old tank to get it out through a tight basement door. The company says its degree day system predicts each customer's next delivery date from outside temperature and past history, and it lists free estimates and 24/7 emergency service. A 2025 reviewer said Tyler and his crew installed a new boiler and hot water heater in 1 day and got the system running despite the cold weather. A 2026 reviewer who had used LeBlanc for almost 5 years for oil and oil burner servicing said it came through on last-minute oil deliveries. A 2025 reviewer said that after calling for oil on a Monday, a promised delivery after 3:00 on Thursday turned into a driver calling at noon, who was rude, then no delivery Thursday or Friday, no answer on the phone and no call back after a message with the answering service, leaving the household almost out of oil. A 2025 reviewer who had used the company for years wrote that it stopped billing for oil and charged their card a few days later without telling them, and would no longer deliver if the check or cash was not left out; that 2025 customer also said the woman on the phone interrupted them.
Have used Leblanc now for almost 5 years for my heat and hot water in my house and my oil burner servicing. They are by far the best when it comes to the last minute oil deliveries, which I am guilty of ordering from time to time lol they’re always there to make sure that I have a delivery and the worst of times and the best of times. Their pricing is also competitiveThank you so much Leblanc oil. !!!!!
Called for oil 1 week ago on a Monday and was told they couldn't deliver until Thursday and someone had to be home. My wife and I both work until 3:00 and would be home after 3:00. We were told that oil would be delivered after 3:00 as they deliver locally at the end of the day. The driver called my wife at work at noon on Thursday and said he would deliver oil in a half hour. She told him no one was home at that time as he was supposed to come after 3:00. He was rude. No oil was delivered on Thursday. I called at 4:30 and was told oil would be delivered Friday as they were too busy on Thursday. No oil delivered on Friday. We called and no one answered tge phone. We called Sat. Morning and left our name and phone # with the answering service. She said someone would get in touch with us---no call. We were afraid we were going to run out of oil. When I called Monday morning I was told no one was home when they were going to come to deliver oil. We are now almost out of oil--- What a fiasco!! I would never recommend Leblanc Oil to anyone. They do not care about everyone--they pick and choose whom they are going to serve. This is no way to run a business!!!!
Have been using them for years and they have been great and reliable, how ever they changed their policy and no longer bill anymore for oil, and did not mention that so they automatically charged my card a few days later without letting me know. Just sucks if you're someone that needs oil, but may not have the $600 right away to put towards it. Being able to pay it within 30 days was great for bill planning in this hard economy. I get it, but I'm upset they did not communicate this to their customers. They also changed it so if you forget to leave the check for them/cash for them, they will not deliver the oil. Which again I understand from a business point of view, but I felt like they cared about their customers by still supplying them with heat. I feel as if they went from caring from their customers to not. The lady on the phone could have sounded like she cared a little more too. She interrupted me because she knew where I was going to tell me they don't do that anymore before I could even finish my sentence.
Tyler and his crew did an amazing job installing our new boiler and hot water heater. They were very professional and got the job done in just 1 day. Despite the cold weather, they were able to get the new system up and running before much heat escaped our house. If you need a new heating unit, LeBlanc Oil should be your first call.
LeBlanc has been our oil provider since we moved in 2 years ago. They installed a new boiler for us when we first moved in, and that was a clean installation. The staff is friendly, and delivery has always been made within 1 days when we call for a refill. We just had them replace our old oil tank, which was probably ~50 years old. They installed a new Granby double-wall tank. They arrived on time (9am) and were finished up by about 2pm. The installers were all very nice, informative, and efficient, especially considering our basement door was very tight (they had to cut the old tank to get it out). Overall, we're very happy with their service! Highly recommend them for both deliveries and installations.
