Its website names Fairfield and New Haven as its service area and says it has been in business for 30 years. It holds 3 stars from 23 Google ratings and a B- grade on BBB. A recent Google customer says the person who came to the house was rude, that the company left their boiler broken and sent a $1000 bill seven months later, and that another company had to fix the mistake. A 2025 customer said they called all day for a delivery, and that the company called back at closing time and said it would come in the morning, leaving the family with no heat overnight at 13°. A 2025 customer said someone came out to clean the furnace, that a part was due in a day or two, and that a week later the family still had no hot water. A 2025 customer said a furnace cleaning quoted at $300 was billed at $420, and that the man they spoke with, whom they believed was the owner, said "quotes are just an estimate". A 2025 oil customer wrote that the lower price applied only if paid within 5 days of delivery, that the card was not charged automatically, and that the company never answered the phone. A 2024 customer said they went 2 weeks without heat while the company put them off, were charged $150 for the estimate, and had to call another company to get heat. A 2024 customer said the installation of a new AC system brought water and mold into the house, and that requests to fix it were put off multiple times. A 2023 customer said no technician showed for an 8:30am Tuesday visit about a tenant's hot water, while the office said the technician had come and left because no one answered the door. A 2023 customer said Rich LeClair diagnosed and fixed furnace problems that the company that installed the furnace had not, ordering the parts and returning the next day to finish the job. The person who came to our house was rude, disrespectful, and condescending. They decided to wait seven months to send us $1000 bill after leaving our Boiler broken we had to have another company come out and fix their mistake. Do not recommend.
If I can give them a -5 star review, I would. WORSE customer service I have EVER experienced. The old man that answers the phone there is soooooo rude and disrespectful and very unprofessional. They DO NOT care about their paying families like the “advertise” on the radio and online. They say “we come out in the middle of the night for emergencies” and the BS! After calling ALLLLLLL DAY for a deliver and leaving NUMEROUS messages, they finally called back when they were already closing and said they would be coming out in the morning, leaving my family with no heat overnight at 13°! -10/10 WILL NEVER RECOMMEND!!!!!!! Not even close o my worst enemy! GOD DONT LIKE UGLY!
It has been a week since someone came out to clean our furnace. We were told the part should come in a day or 2. When my husband called for follow up, the response was unprofessional and told, "Like, I said.. we will call you when it gets here." Our family has not had any hot water for a week. I cannot believe this is a family owned business!
My husband started using these guys to get our oil from since their price was so much lower than their competitors. What they don’t tell you is that that discounted price is only if you pay within 5 days of delivery and they don’t automatically charge you. You have to call them and tell them to charge your card, which is enough of a hassle in itself. But then they never answer their phone.
I had called numerous places to get a price on a furnace cleaning. They quoted me 300.00. I thought it was a fair price. They came and were only here for 15 min. I was ready to pay the technician the 300.00 when he was ready to leave, but said they would send a invoice instead. Received bill and it is 420.00. I called back and spoke with the owner I believe. He said that "quotes are just an estimate". They only did the basic cleaning, vacuumed and brushed boiler and pipes, replaced oil filter, nozzle and strainer, bled lines. Please be careful with this company. Their word is not worth anything. I will never go back to them.
