166 Google ratings at 4.9 is a lot of Cape houses. What customers keep describing isn't the paint, though — it's what happens before it. A homeowner writing in July 2026 collected several estimates, found Leo's price sat right in the middle of them, and picked the company on the strength of its preparation. Leo's Painting & Home Solutions is family-owned, works out of Hyannis and covers Falmouth, Dennis, Chatham, Mashpee and Yarmouth, taking on interior and exterior painting, staining, light carpentry and remodeling. In September 2024 a customer had the whole outside power washed, sanded and given two coats across a mix of new and 40-year-old cedar shingles, with Leandro checking in at every phase. A February 2026 condo owner had large holes patched, the walls sanded and sprayed and everything sheeted in plastic, with no damage left behind. In September 2025 a customer had 2,700 square feet of interior painted and said Leo would not call it complete until they were satisfied; that same month another had the kitchen, pantry, entryway and dining room done, cabinets and built-ins included. A July 2023 customer had new baseboards installed and water-damaged drywall replaced by the carpenters on the crew. The thing to nail down is the finish line. In February 2023 a customer gave three stars while still waiting, almost four months on, for a job to be completed. It is the outlier in a 4.9-star record — a February 2023 whole-house job was staffed every day, weekends included, to hit a tight window — but scheduling is the question to ask. If you own a Cape house that needs shingles and trim sorted before it gets painted, or a rental that has to be turned around while you are off-Cape, this is a practical call. Put the completion date and the punch-list process in the contract, and ask who will be on site each day.
