A homeowner writing in July 2026 had it all at once: dings and gouges in the wood, water stains, and an area where chemicals had eaten through the finish and bleached the wood. Wilson and his teammate sanded all of it out, then stained and polyurethaned. That is the work Leominster Hardwood Floors is built around — sanding, refinishing, staining, repairing and installing wood floors and staircases, plus vinyl, run out of 54 Mechanic St in Leominster for homes and businesses. Reviewer after reviewer names Wilson himself, consulting on the job and then running it with his crew. On Google the company carries 5 stars across 130 ratings, and its written reviews run back to 2020. Difficult floors come up again and again. In a 2023 review, a homeowner said two other hardwood companies had failed to fix their oak floors before this crew sanded and finished them. A 2022 customer had boards replaced in the bathroom of an early-1700s house that now look like part of the original floor; another that summer brought in heart pine that had been painted over and mistreated for more than a century. A July 2025 job meant pulling up linoleum with glue and tar paper underneath. In June 2026 a customer pointed out that maple is tricky to sand and finish evenly and said the team handled it, and a May 2026 account describes limestone taken out of a family room and new hardwood laid with no seam separation between the rooms. Getting a price is quick. A July 2026 customer got a free on-site estimate and had the crew working a couple of days later; someone writing in November 2025 said he came out on a Sunday to give an estimate, and put it in capitals that he calls his clients back. Several reviewers through 2024 and 2025 called the price competitive, fair or reasonable. If your floors are old, stained or badly beaten up, this is the shop that takes those on. Settle the finish before they start — a March 2024 customer described three coats of oil-based polyurethane — and pin down the schedule for the rooms you need back first.

Wilson is outstanding!!! Communicates clearly, set expectations and delivers excellent work on time and on budget. Very happy with the service and we expect to develop an ongoing relationship with him.
Wilson always does a great job and always keeps it professional. I first hired him a couple of years ago to redo my floors. This past week, Wilson came back and did my stairs. He never disappoints. Very professional, very efficient, and very skilled. 10/10 recommend him and his work!
Wilson and his teammate did a great job! We had several minor dings and gouges in the wood flooring as well as some water stains and even an area where chemicals had eaten through the finish and bleached the wood. They were able to sand all this out, stain and polyurethane the floor. Looks brand new now! Great job!
Don’t go anywhere else to get your hardwood floors refinished. Wilson is amazing at what he does and goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy with the final product. He came to the house, gave a free estimate on site and was in the house working a couple days later! The floors came out great! Excellent Price. Service and Timeliness. Can’t be beat! Thank you!
Wilson did a great job with our hardwood floors. He was fast, personable, and reasonably priced. He communicated clearly, showed up when he said he would, and made the whole process easy. The floors came out great, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for quality hardwood floor work at a fair price.
