In a February 2025 Google review, a homeowner wrote that Peter Lizotte of Lizotte Construction helped build their house and garage from the ground up: removing logs and debris, site prep, installing the septic, building the driveway and stone walls, building layout, grading, drainage, backfilling, laying the well pipe and ground contouring. Peter came recommended by the customer's septic system designer, arranged a truck to haul the logs to the mill and a well driller to dig the well, and was called fair and transparent with his billing. Google shows the company at 5 stars from 7 ratings. In September 2025 a customer wrote that Peter had just finished installing a new septic system and works long hours and weekends to get the work done. A 2022 customer, who named Peter Lizotte as the owner, made the same point about long hours and weekends; Peter put in a septic system there along with a retaining wall, smoothed out the yard and laid grass seed. In a January 2025 review, a customer recalled a New Years Eve Day when Peter came with his excavator to dig up their septic tank to replace a pipe; the same customer wrote that he redid their driveway, installed granite blocks around their fire pit area the previous fall, and has kept their road plowed and mud-season passable since 2015. Another January 2025 customer who has worked with Peter and his crew since 2015 wrote that they regraded a lawn with ponded water, added subsurface drainage in two lawns, renovated the driveway and added decorative granite, calling the work "on time" and "on budget."
Peter Lizotte just finished installing a new septic system for us. He does excellent work and does work long hours and weekends to get the work done. Would hire him again in a heartbeat.

I was so fortunate to find Peter Lizotte, of Lizotte Construction. He came highly recommended from my septic system designer and responded immediately to my calls. Peter helped me build my house and garage; from the removal of logs and debris, to the sight prep, to installing my septic, building my driveway, stone walls, building layout, grading, drainage system, backfilling, laying my well pipe, and ground contouring...I felt like Peter was looking out for the well being of my project, and me, throughout the whole process. He even arranged for a truck to haul my logs to the mill, and for a well driller to dig my well. He is very fair and transparent with his billing, and very honest. I highly recommend him for all of the services he provides. He is the only guy that I know that can make dirt look clean when he is done working it.
Pete has done a number of outstanding projects for me. In each instance he has taken the time to offer various options and explain the pros and cons of each approach. Pete's work ethic and attention to detail is superior.
I have worked with Peter Lizotte and his crew since 2015 both professionally and personally. Lizotte Construction has consitently performed grade-A+ work. At my home, they have regraded the lawn (ponded water), added subsurface drainage in two lawns, plus renovated our driveway, and added decorative granite for landscaping. Always on time, always on budget. Highly recommended.
