That 2026 reviewer said they came to an agreement at $1,250 and that Amanda and Olivia were nice and reasonable to communicate with.
I used Longo for the first time to clean wall-to-wall carpet in 2 rooms. The whole process from calling and making the appointment to the actual service with a technician, Jason was easy and done professionally. Jason arrived on time, addressed all my questions and went over what I should expect with my 20 year-old carpets. Jason did an amazing job with both rooms and exceeded my expectations. He made the whole process go fast and easy. I highly recommend to all who need their carpets clean watch the process. When Jason cleaned my living room carpet, I was able to watch him in action. I could see the difference immediately as he made passes through the section of the carpet. Very satisfying. I would highly recommend Jason and everyone from Longo.
Five Stars! Excellent Service!I highly recommend this carpet cleaning service! Dana from Longo Carpet Cleaning recently cleaned three rugs for my mother and did an absolute phenomenal job. He paid special attention to stubborn spots and stains, completely removing them. The carpets look brand new again! Thank you for your hard work, professionalism, and care. Longo remains my first call for cleaning floors, rugs, and ducts.
We used Longo for the first time to clean wall-to-wall, runners, area, rugs, and stairs, a total of about 650 ft.² +13 stairs. From the initial contact with the office through the service in our home, the process was professional and friendly. Jason and his colleague arrived on time, reviewed the job asked a few questions and explained what we could expect on some of our older carpets which was helpful. They assisted in moving some of the larger furniture so that we could get a thorough cleaning. We were very pleased with the results.Jason also put a call into the office to get us some information on another service that we had asked him about, which was appreciated. Pricing was quite reasonable and we were offered both a senior and cash/check discount. We would not hesitate to use them again.
The carpet cleaning crew Chris and Jack did an outstanding job from start to finish. They arrived on time, were professional and courteous, and worked very hard to make the carpets look brand new again. They paid attention to every detail, removed stains we thought would never come out, and left everything clean and fresh without any mess behind. It was clear they took pride in their work, and the results exceeded our expectations. We would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality carpet cleaning service.
Had a water extraction done through this company and I'll start from the top. My washing machine flooded the little room it's in during the wash cycle with clear water. I got up all the water from the surface using my vacuum. It had caused leaking to occur to another unit so that was another issue. My condo association owner called me because of the complaint from the other unit and she called Longo on my behalf because she's dealt with the company for years so I thought nothing of it and said she could call them for me. She tells me I'll be forwarded the bill and I said OK. Now when they showed up and did their readings and evaluation, they made it seem like this was going to be an inexpensive job because of their readings. I asked for a price or an estimate and they told me since my condo association called that they will bill them using an algorithm they use. I asked them if they could give me a ball park of a price since I would be the one paying the bill but they wouldn't budge. Whole reason why I allowed them to leave their equipment for an extra day was because I was concerned about possible mold damage but after further research and outside advice the water damage percentage wasn't high enough for that to be an issue. Had they gone over what and why they were doing what they were doing then I'd make them take away their equipment on the second day when they arrived like I originally expected but nooooo they wanted me to keep them for another day. For the amount of work done, no estimate for the project that was then billed at $1,587.04 altogether and poor communication from the workers is why I would give them 1 star. I only gave 2 stars because we came to a financial agreement at $1,250 although I still feel like I overpaid. Anytime a project is going to total $1000 or more, in the state of MA, a company is supposed to give an estimate beforehand and to proceed after the estimate is given I would've had to sign off for it which did not happen all because I didn't call the company myself although I was the one paying the invoice and it overall affected me. They literally charged me the price of a new washer and dryer set for the minimum water extraction job they did. I think they over charge on the equipment used, and their lack of communication is bad for business. If you're thinking about this company, before pulling the trigger like I did, do comparative research first before diving in cause places like this WILL take advantage of hardworking people. Now Amanda and Olivia are the only reason I gave 2 Stars because they were nice, and reasonable to communicate with. Amanda and Olivia both deserve either A) a bonus or B) a raise for handling this situation with me as best as they could. I know they were doing their job as best as they could and although I was disgruntled we came to an agreement/settlement.
