DryForce Water Damage holds a 2.5-star Google rating from 2 ratings. In a 2014 review, a customer described lead-abatement work on their home and said the job took months longer than expected. That 2014 customer said the crew did not contain the lead dust and that their youngest child's blood lead level went from 10 to 25 after returning to the home. The same 2014 account describes encapsulant paint dripped on finished floors and slopped onto a new window, and says it took at least three return trips to get most of the problems resolved. A 2018 customer called the crew good and said they would use the company on more union jobs because they were so professional.
Good crew. I would use this company in more union jobs because they were so professional
Update: 7/23/14 Caution! This contractor did not clean up properly and our children have experienced highly elevated blood lead levels. Our youngest went from a BLL of 10 to a 25 after retuning to our home which was supposedly made safer. They failed to do the job properly and did not contain the lead dust. Our home is now dangerous. I was completely dissatisfied with the Ultimate Abatement crew as the contractor for lead-abatement work on my home. The job took months longer than expected and the crew took shortcuts whenever possible. The encapsulant paint job was so sloppy with paint slopped onto our new window, on freshly stripped doors, hardware, and with drips all over our finished floors (and also on floors which they had just sanded) they didn't bother with drop cloths. The crew showed complete disrespect for my property - cigarette butts, gum, and wrappers were thrown all over my yard. When we asked them to come back and clean up some of the paint drips, they used a screwdriver (!) to scrape paint off of a shelf in my house leaving deep gouge marks. When we asked them to remove staples that they had put into our interior trim and then painted over, they just ripped them out and left the underlying lead paint exposed again. It took at least three return trips and several reminders to finally get most of the problems resolved. Do yourself a favor and find a contractor who has more highly skilled workers and who are better supervised.
