Cape Cod rentals all turn over on the same Saturday, and that is the job Lucy's Maid Cleaning Service has built itself around. One owner wrote in August 2025 that they use the crew across dozens of vacation rental properties; another, writing in 2022, had them doing changeovers for five straight summers and said schedule changes were never a problem. A 2024 review came from a landlord who had been sending them to his renters' turnovers since 2019. The company works out of North Street in Hyannis and says on its own site that it covers residential, commercial and vacation-rental cleaning, with about fifteen years behind it — though its Thumbtack profile claims twenty and lists 18 employees. Customers name whoever runs it without being asked: "the owner, Lucy" in an August 2025 review, "Luciana" in one from 2022. The background check on the Thumbtack account is in the name Luciana Cruz. The written history runs 2021 through 2026 and barely moves: 4.9 on Google across 57 ratings, with the three newest reviews posted in May and June 2026. Punctuality is the line that repeats — a customer in April 2025 described two cleaners arriving on time and working seven hours straight until the job was finished. So does being trusted alone in an empty house; reviewers handing over keys to rentals and second homes keep reaching for the word trustworthy. What they notice is the skipped stuff: a 2021 customer listed sliding-door glass and the inside of the fridges among things she had not expected to be cleaned, and a September 2025 review picked out floors, the refrigerator and a ceiling fan. In 2022, one household chose them specifically because everyone entering the house was vaccinated and masked. Two things to weigh. Only one written review sits below five stars — a January 2023 customer who hired them while too ill to clean, kept the service afterwards, and gave four — and Thumbtack's distribution carries a single 1-star rating among its 37. And when you see two 4.9s side by side, note that Thumbtack labels its reviews as coming from Google: the same customers, counted twice, not a second opinion. The reach is mid-Cape and wider — reviewers write from Brewster and from a rental on the ocean in Wellfleet, where a 2023 guest of seven years said the difference in cleanliness that first season was obvious.
