Maine Value Heat Pumps installs and cleans heat pumps across central Maine. On its website the company says it brings 15+ years of building plus 10+ years of HVAC, and it lists a service area that includes Newport, Bangor, Brewer, Augusta, Waterville, Skowhegan, Belfast and Searsport. On Thumbtack it describes itself as a business started only a year ago by people with over 10,000 hours of experience in HVAC. At Moore Manor Lavender, a customer said Silas did the heat pump installation on schedule, took his time and was careful with the new store space. Silas installed two heat pumps for one customer, who praised his attention to detail, his quote and how professional he is. For a mini-split heat/AC pump system, a customer said the company coordinated schedules with the electrician, handled the installation, walked them through how to use the system and helped with the state rebate process. Silas cleaned one customer's heat pumps "taking care to protect near by furniture," and that customer appreciated the tips he gave to prevent mold from growing in them. A 2026 Thumbtack customer said Silas was professional and responsive.

Silas installed two heat pumps for us and we are very happy with his attention to detail, his quote and how professional he is!
We had a wonderful experience with this company from start to finish with the installation of our mini-split heat/ac pump system. The entire team was incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, professional, and genuinely nice to work with. What really stood out was how easy they made the entire process. They took care of everything—from coordinating schedules with the electrician and handling the installation to walking us through how to use the system and helping with the state rebate process. They were always responsive, friendly, patient with our questions, and clearly knew their stuff. The installation itself was extremely neat and professional, and they took great care of our home throughout the process. It’s refreshing to work with a company that combines excellent technical knowledge with such great customer service. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering a heat pump or mini-split system. Truly a great company run by kind, knowledgeable people who take pride in what they do!
