Mainsail Painting

Twenty-year-old kitchen cabinets were the subject of one Mainsail Painting customer's July 2026 Google review. The homeowner said the painted cabinets looked as though they had come straight from the factory, the work was timely, and the price was lower than other quotes. Another July reviewer described a larger exterior project: replacing cedar shingles, installing new front clapboard siding, painting, and restoring windows, including reglazing. Based in Barnstable, Mainsail describes itself as a locally owned, husband-and-wife-led painting company serving Cape Cod and the South Shore. It advertises residential and commercial interior and exterior painting, cabinet and deck refinishing, wood staining, sheet rock installation, and wallpaper installation. Mainsail Painting Inc has active Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration 215305. Google shows 136 ratings averaging 5 stars. A July 2026 customer who owns four properties praised the company's painting, floor refinishing, carpentry, and smaller household jobs. That reviewer emphasized communication, punctuality, and estimates that left no surprises. In May 2026, another customer said Vinny and the crew helped guide decisions and answered questions, finished ahead of schedule, and left the workspace clean each night. A May 2026 school review described work during a tight two-week Christmas-break window for new windows and moving a wall. The reviewer credited Mainsail with finish work around the windows, hanging and finishing drywall, and painting. They said the team coordinated with other trades and also patched carpet and repaired a hazardous section of drop ceiling without charging for the extra work. The account names Vinny as the owner and says he visited several times to check the work. One August 2026 basement-painting customer reported an equipment problem: paint clogged a dehumidifier filter. The customer said the team suggested replacing the dehumidifier and did so, and still recommended the company. In a March 2026 Google review, a homeowner described six days of work painting the kitchen, hall, entry, and cabinets, including an island. They praised the preparation and communication, said the crew protected floors and cabinet interiors, and reported a clean house at the end of each day. The customer also said the price was competitive with other quotes and that the Milesi cabinet paint was one reason they chose Mainsail.
