Make Peace with Organizing is a Marblehead professional-organizing and senior move management company founded by Rachel Carlino Dangora (a former lawyer) with her husband Mike Dangora heading move logistics — the work is decluttering and downsizing homes, then packing, unpacking and coordinating the movers and estate-sale crews, across Massachusetts, New Hampshire and southern Maine. All eight Google reviews on file, dated between September 2025 and February 2026, are five stars, and the specifics repeat. A February 2026 review describes moving a family friend into senior living, praising Rachel for a fair price and being "very sensitive," with team member Linda helping show her that keeping everything wasn't realistic. A January 2026 review from a repeat client — their second time, having moved one relative into senior living and another into memory care within the year — says Kelly went "way above and beyond." An October 2025 review says a couple's parents were fully unpacked and settled in their new apartment by the end of moving day, crediting Gail's patience. It isn't only senior transitions: a January 2026 review covers a chaotic basement finally organized before a baby arrived, and a September 2025 review describes a garage decluttered and fitted out with storage bins. Several reviewers identify themselves as elder-care or senior-living professionals who refer clients to the company regularly and hear back the same thing — clear communication and a calm hand during a stressful time. The BBB gives the company an A+ with no complaints on file since it opened in 2018, though it isn't BBB-accredited. One thing worth a clarifying question: the website describes the business as an LLC, while its BBB profile lists it as a sole proprietorship. Each review names a different team member — Linda, Kelly, Gail — alongside Rachel, so it's reasonable to ask who's assigned to your job, and a December 2025 review mentions a free initial consultation to walk through services and costs. A strong fit for families navigating an emotional downsizing move into senior living, and just as suited to anyone facing an overwhelmed garage or basement.

We refer Rachel and her team to our clients, who are always blown away with their professional and clear communication. They have incredible talent to make all clients feel very comfortable and relaxed during what could be a stressful time. We continue to refer Rachel as well as our clients continue to reach out to her and refer her to their friends and families.
I had a dear friend who needed major decluttering so we could move her to a Senior Living Community. Rachel came and gave us a fair price but more importantly was very sensitive with my friend, Her team was fabulous, especially Linda, they arrived on time were very respectful of my friends wishes but were very skilled in showing her that taking everything wouldn't work! I can't say enough how wonderful they were. If I every need something like this they are my #1 choice
This is the 2nd time we’ve used Make Peace with Organizing. We moved my sister into Sr Living last summer and into memory care this week. This was a very emotional move and the team was so patient and caring! Everyone was so amazing! Kelly went way above and beyond yesterday! We don't know what we would have done without her! She is just amazing and my sister loves her too! We’ve already asked her to come back and help my sister get a bit more organized and settled. The movers today were so accommodating and friendly. I love their positive attitude and they worked so fast! Thank you all! You made this move so much easier and calmer that we could have ever hoped for! We will use Make Peace with Organizing for every move and whenever we need to declutter and organize. We have already referred them on to friends and family. Lynne Almond
I'm so grateful I found MPWO! I'm expecting a baby in two months, and my basement was in desperate need of help. After moving three times in the last three years, my husband and I had no idea what was in half the bins down there - including all the baby items from my daughter. Rachel completely transformed the space, making everything organized, clear, and easy to find. The anxiety I had around it all instantly disappeared. I can't recommend her enough.
I made the decision to move from my home in early October with a target move-in date of December 1. Fortunately I had met with Rachel and learned about the range of services offered by Make Peace with Organizing and the range of costs involved several months earlier. That visit provided a free one-time consultation type discussion which was very informative, complete, and comprehensive which I was then able to act on quickly. My move experience went very smoothly and the MPWO staff helped me declutter, pack, move, and unpack and were very skilled, knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. Without their help and the overall coordination provided by Rachel my move experience would have been much more difficult with respect to both demands on my time and energy, and the overall stress factors involved. MPWO provided me with excellent support at very reasonable cost and I highly recommend Rachel and the services provided.
