Almost every review of Make Peace with Organizing is about the same hard day: an older parent, sibling or friend moving out of the house they have lived in for decades. That is the through-line. This Marblehead company declutters and organizes homes and offices, but what people actually write about is being walked through a downsizing they did not want to make. Rachel Carlino Dangora founded it and still runs it; the site says the idea came out of a pivotal stretch in her own life, and that she spent eight years practising law before turning organizing into a career. Her husband Mike Dangora is COO and runs move management. The BBB lists the business as started in June 2018, with three employees, and grades it A+ — though it is not BBB accredited, which are two separate facts. On Google the company carries 5 stars across 88 ratings, and the written reviews are unusually specific for a service business. In a February 2026 review, someone moving a friend into senior living wrote that Rachel 'gave us a fair price but more importantly was very sensitive with my friend,' and singled out a team member named Linda. A January 2026 reviewer on her second job with the company described moving a sister from senior living into memory care and named Kelly. Reviewers from late 2025 named Gail, described parents' apartments unpacked and set up by the end of moving day, and one described a garage of leftover moving boxes swapped out for organized storage bins. Named staff recurring across separate reviews, alongside itemised work, is what makes the set read as real rather than manufactured. Two things are worth knowing before calling. Some of the warmest reviews come from professionals who refer clients — a real-estate team and someone working with elderly clients — rather than from homeowners who hired them for their own house; that is a genuine endorsement, but it is not the same as a customer's account. And the company arranges and coordinates movers rather than operating trucks itself, so the actual hauling is subcontracted. One December 2025 reviewer noted the value of a free one-time consultation covering the range of services and costs, which is the sensible place to start. The right call for a senior downsizing, an estate clear-out, or a household that needs packing, unpacking and a new home set up the same day. Confirm who is doing the physical move, and get the scope and price fixed at that first consultation.

We refer Rachel and her team to our clients, who are always blown away with their professional and clear communication. They have incredible talent to make all clients feel very comfortable and relaxed during what could be a stressful time. We continue to refer Rachel as well as our clients continue to reach out to her and refer her to their friends and families.

I had a dear friend who needed major decluttering so we could move her to a Senior Living Community. Rachel came and gave us a fair price but more importantly was very sensitive with my friend, Her team was fabulous, especially Linda, they arrived on time were very respectful of my friends wishes but were very skilled in showing her that taking everything wouldn't work! I can't say enough how wonderful they were. If I every need something like this they are my #1 choice

This is the 2nd time we’ve used Make Peace with Organizing. We moved my sister into Sr Living last summer and into memory care this week. This was a very emotional move and the team was so patient and caring! Everyone was so amazing! Kelly went way above and beyond yesterday! We don't know what we would have done without her! She is just amazing and my sister loves her too! We’ve already asked her to come back and help my sister get a bit more organized and settled. The movers today were so accommodating and friendly. I love their positive attitude and they worked so fast! Thank you all! You made this move so much easier and calmer that we could have ever hoped for! We will use Make Peace with Organizing for every move and whenever we need to declutter and organize. We have already referred them on to friends and family. Lynne Almond

I'm so grateful I found MPWO! I'm expecting a baby in two months, and my basement was in desperate need of help. After moving three times in the last three years, my husband and I had no idea what was in half the bins down there - including all the baby items from my daughter. Rachel completely transformed the space, making everything organized, clear, and easy to find. The anxiety I had around it all instantly disappeared. I can't recommend her enough.

I made the decision to move from my home in early October with a target move-in date of December 1. Fortunately I had met with Rachel and learned about the range of services offered by Make Peace with Organizing and the range of costs involved several months earlier. That visit provided a free one-time consultation type discussion which was very informative, complete, and comprehensive which I was then able to act on quickly. My move experience went very smoothly and the MPWO staff helped me declutter, pack, move, and unpack and were very skilled, knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. Without their help and the overall coordination provided by Rachel my move experience would have been much more difficult with respect to both demands on my time and energy, and the overall stress factors involved. MPWO provided me with excellent support at very reasonable cost and I highly recommend Rachel and the services provided.
