King Movers & Storage carries 4.9 stars from 102 Google ratings. The moving company says it has been in business for seven years, and its website lists a service area that runs from Boston and Malden up through Revere, Salem, Peabody, Beverly and Gloucester. It also advertises free estimates and 24/7 emergency service. A recent customer who has made five major moves wrote that the team was on time and packed items so tightly there was space left over in the truck, after they had expected to need a second vehicle. In a four-star review, a customer said Erling checked in with them before getting started, and the three movers wrapped the more precious furniture, moved a heavy couch on request at the new place and finished in under the time estimated. That customer also found the administrative communication before the move too persistent, with repeated requests to confirm and sign for the inventory. The company was named in a 2025 r/boston Reddit thread. A recent customer who named Angel, Manuel and Diego praised the job they did with the amount of stuff they had to carry.
“King Movers & Storage”
We were happy with our team of movers on September 28th! They were thorough and good communicators. Erling checked in with us before getting started to ensure everything was communicated with transparency and heard our concerns. The three of them worked efficiently to wrap our more precious furniture and most of our other items. When we reached the other side, we had an additional request for them to move a heavy couch and they did so with a positive attitude and effective teamwork. They also were able to maneuver an item I was uncertain would fit through the doorway with care and confidence at our original apartment and complete the move in under the time estimated. While the administrative communication before the move was way too persistent and redundant asking us to confirm and sign for our inventory repeatedly, I would still recommend this mover overall.
Angel, Manuel, Diego did an amazing job with the amount of stuff they had to carry! Amazing service, %100 recommended
I have 5 major moves under my belt, and this one was hands down the best experience. The team was on time, pleasant to be around, highly professional, and packed items so tightly I couldn't believe there was space left over in the truck. Not much, but I was seriously thinking we'd need to get a second vehicle. Easy decision to work with King Movers & Storage and I highly recommend you hiring them.
Domingo, Michael and Julio did a fantastic and thorough job. Very professional!
Had a wonderful experience with Domingo Machito Julio and Ronan. They arrived promptly, worked quickly and were flexible with our needs. Thank you so much to Domingo and his team! They made the move easy and enjoyable.
