Martin's Construction

Marty has done a number of house projects for us and the projects have always exceeded my expectations. He installed three windows for our basement, tiled our kitchen which came out great, built us a large pool deck connecting to a preexisting upper deck which came out better than I envisioned, and most recently renovated a shower which included the removal of the shower insert and then black mold before building out and tiling a new shower. Marty offers ideas that a homeowner might not have thought of, such as extended deck stairs or unique niches and the layout of tiles in the shower. He’s very thorough and seemingly a perfectionist. A+ all the way. Hoping to have him back for another job in the queue.

I've worked with Martin on several projects. He has put a new ceiling and wood floor in my living room; built a custom frame around a large glass door; repaired a snow/ice damaged area of my kitchen; completely gutted and renovated my bathroom; and many other things. He is the only builder I've worked with who I trust to provide quality work at a reasonable price. Whether measuring for drywall, creating a custom-made transom window with frame, or installing high end tile, his attention to detail is impeccable. Because I live in an old fixer-upper, he often uncovers past work that was shoddy. He always gives me the option to correct it, or to camouflage it. We don't always agree on design ideas, but I appreciate his honesty, and I am always happy with the end result. My house was recently refinanced. As a result of his fine work, the assessment value came in much higher than I expected.

I hired Martin to put deep and irregular sliding drawers in my kitchen. I consulted with others and none gave me the practical suggestions and design that I needed as fully as he did. He took every detail of the work very seriously and always found a solution. He works calmly, carefully, competently and is pleasant to deal with. He likes what he does and finds pleasure and pride in his work. Working in my kitchen is much more enjoyable and easier since he installed these drawers.

We hired Martin's Construction on 08-05-14 to Install 12 windows 11 x 12 inches. Several contractors would not do the work because the windows are not exactly 11x12 and set in Bricks and are labor intense. Not only did the company do the work in only a few days but the craftmanship was outstanding. Martin's Construction has also tiled my Kitchen and Bathroom floor in the past with excellent results.

I hired Martin's Construction for a numerous home renovation projects over the past 5 years. Martin assisted me with redesigning the layout to my 100 year old farmhouse. His background in design is outstanding, he was able to restore elements of the home back to it's original form. I highly recommend his services, his prices are affordable and the work was done in a timely manner.
