Mason's Drywall, Plaster & Stucco, Inc. lists drywall, plaster, stucco and framing work on Angi, with much of that menu marked for business. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 191462, is active on the state registry. A Massachusetts construction supervisor license, CS-096053, held by Donald J Dupras, is also active on the state registry. The company carries an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau and is BBB accredited. A 2025 Google reviewer said the dumpster rental service itself was fine, but that the owner called and texted at 7 PM, became aggressive over the payment and threatened to put a lien on the reviewer's property over a $530 invoice.
Unprofessional and Disorganized – Not Worth the Hassle As a business owner, I believe professionalism and clear communication are essential in any business transaction. Unfortunately, this company and its owner completely lack both. While the dumpster rental service itself was fine, the experience dealing with the owner was anything but. I requested a weight station receipt, as required by my client. At first, the owner had no issue with this request. I also offered for him to pick up his payment check from my office, but he never showed up. After a full week, I finally received an invoice—only then did he call to say I could mail the check instead. Had I known that earlier, it would have saved time and confusion. Regardless, the check was sent out the next day. Then, out of nowhere, the owner called and texted me at 7 PM, sounding intoxicated and becoming aggressive over the payment. He went from having no issue to suddenly claiming he was offended by my request for a receipt and yelling that no one had ever asked him for one before. He then threatened to put a lien on my property over a $530 invoice—despite the fact that he himself delayed the entire process. This is not how a professional business owner should handle a simple payment situation. To make matters worse, after all his dramatic demands, he never even showed up to pick up the check as he said his wife would. My company was even willing to cancel the mailed check and issue a new one to resolve the matter faster, yet he continued to be unprofessional and disorganized. A responsible business owner communicates clearly, remains professional under all circumstances, and resolves minor issues without resorting to hostility. If you value professionalism and efficiency, I strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere.
