Masonry Enforcement is a masonry company whose Angi profile lists brick and stone patios, walks and steps, tuck-pointing and retaining walls among its services. A 2017 customer contracted Mike Napoleone of Masonry Enforcement to build a bluestone patio of about 250 square feet, with a Belgian block surround and a dividing wall. That 2017 customer said the work was completed by the deadline despite rainy weather, and that the dividing wall was built from stones already on the property, at the customer's request. A 2017 customer who hired the company before selling a home said the new patio included a built-in grill, fire pit, walkways and side walls; that customer wrote that the house sold for 70k more than they had in mind. In a 2017 review of a new walkway, the customer said a design change the company recommended gave the walkway a better overall configuration. A 2018 customer said they finished the project in a few days and did not overcharge. A 2011 customer said a concrete patio the company poured was uneven and chipping away in places, and that a landscaped play area with railroad ties and mulch did not look professional. A 2019 customer wrote: "Not to be trusted."
Not to be trusted.
They worked hard and finished the project in a few days, looks very nice. Did not overcharge.
I now have a new, beautiful walkway and I could not be happier. Masonry Enforcement fulfilled all the requirements that I wanted. The entire crew worked fast, and was very efficient and thorough. Their level of knowledge, skill and professionalism was evident from the start and it sure did boost my confidence that I would end up with a good job. There were three things that really impressed me and helped me make the right decision to hire them. I was quoted a price which I assessed as a very fair proposal for the work involved. Even more important was a design change recommendation they made that was a much nicer looking and a far better overall configuration of the walkway. Last, Mike assured me they always go the extra mile to make sure that every aspect of the job meets their customers expectations. They sure did do that. Great job.
They do exactly what they say what they say they will. So ask for everything.
I contracted Mike Napoleone of Masonry Enforcement to build an approx. 250 ftsq bluestone patio, with a Belgian block surround, and a dividing wall. His quote was great (much better quote than the other two companies bidding on the work) and his work was superb. He completed the work by my deadline despite the rainy weather we had in July and early August and he did the job right -- everything was lined, leveled, and tweaked to be just right. He made sure my plants were looked after while the work was ongoing, he took care for my driveway, and he made sure all my questions were answered. And he used the best quality materials. The blue stone slabs he picked out are gorgeous and have the full range of colors.. He is professional, customer-oriented, and punctual. His crew is polite, courteous, and really good at what they do. They even used stones I had on the property to build the dividing wall (at my request). The final product is better than I could have hoped and I am absolutely delighted with the experience and my new patio and wall. He even did some extras that were out of scope for the original price. I give him a 100% recommendation and would certainly use him again should I need additional masonry work.Show
