Mass Maids

Mass Maids is a Newton outfit whose written record leans commercial: an office, a makeup studio, a small business, and — the one that reads most vividly — an Airbnb after the guests wrecked it. The company describes itself on its own site as women-owned and operated and eco-friendly, working across Boston on offices, apartment-building common areas, retail spaces and short-term-rental turnovers, with household cleaning alongside. Thumbtack lists it at six employees and three years in business, with 49 project photos and a completed background check on file. The accounts are few but consistent. In August 2025 a visitor wrote that they found the company by searching "Airbnb Cleaning" after guests trashed their rental, and called the response fast and efficient. An April 2025 reviewer hired them for a medium-size office cleanup, called the pricing affordable and said they would keep using them. From April 2024, a studio owner described mirrors left perfect and makeup scrubbed off desks she had given up on, with the crew arriving on time and finishing promptly; another customer that month had weekly cleans running at an elderly mother's house. Two things to weigh. The file is small — five written accounts across four sources, the newest from August 2025 — so the picture is genuine but narrow. And most of what customers describe is commercial or short-term-rental work rather than ordinary weekly housekeeping, with one exception; if you want recurring residential service, ask how much of that they actually do and for a reference from a household on the same schedule you want. For an Airbnb turnover, an office, or a one-off deep clean in the Boston area, the reviews here point the same direction. Confirm scope, frequency and price in writing before the first visit.
