A 2025 customer said Matt responded quickly to furnace problems and followed up afterward with a courtesy call. In 2022, a customer said the company had installed the plumbing when they built their house, and that Justin and Colby fixed a sewer line backup on a Friday afternoon. A 2023 customer said that when pipes broke under the kitchen sink, the company came within a few hours. A recent two-phase plumbing and heating customer reports a long list of problems after the work was paid for: the wrong shower valve, rattling pipes, leaking towel warmers, debris-clogged faucets, crossed heating zone wires and leaking fixtures. That customer says responses often took weeks, a heating unit installed in a new room was undersized and never fixed, and water damage to hardwood flooring and a newly painted wall was never repaired.
“Matt Beam Plumbing & Heating, Walpole”
Came out and gave my mother a price on replacing an old cast iron drain and fit it in as quickly as possible. He sent out two youg plumbers with a master plumber and got it done in less time than expected all well working with my elderly mother making he comfortable. Cleaned up better than it was when they got there. The drain looks great and came in under budget. Have been in construction my whole life and would recommend Matt to anyone looking for quality work 👌
We hired Matt Beam Plumbing & Heating for a two-phase plumbing and heating project and were extremely disappointed with the quality of the work and the lack of follow-up when problems arose. Unfortunately, after the work was completed and paid for, we discovered a number of issues that required further investigation and repair. These included installation of the wrong shower valve, improperly secured plumbing that caused pipes to rattle, leaking towel warmers, clogged faucets due to construction debris left in the lines, crossed heating zone wires, and leaking bathroom fixtures. Several of these issues required my husband to diagnose and repair them himself because it often took weeks to receive a response from the company. We also had significant problems with a heating unit that was installed in a new room of our home. The unit was undersized for the space and could not adequately heat the room during the winter. Although Matt assured us he would address the issue, it was never resolved. We ultimately had to hire another company to install a properly sized unit. In addition, plumbing and HVAC work performed during the project resulted in water damage to our hardwood flooring and a newly painted wall. No effort was made to repair the damage or otherwise make the situation right. What was most frustrating was not just the number of mistakes, but the lack of accountability. We spent a considerable amount of money expecting professional workmanship and service, only to be left correcting problems ourselves and hiring others to finish the job properly. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Matt Beam Plumbing & Heating and would not hire them again.
