Matthew Liberatore is a Framingham plumber whose name sits on 11 building permits going back to 2006 — gas lines, water heaters and fixture work in Framingham, Ashland, Marlborough, Waltham and Newton, plus a couple of small residential renovations. No customer has written about him publicly. BuildZoom carries no reviews for him, and the permits it lists stop in 2022. Licensing is the thing to sort out before calling. BuildZoom shows a Massachusetts plumber and master plumber number (#9460) as active, yet prints expiration dates of May 2024 and May 2016 for them; it lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#178761) as cancelled; and its own banner says no active license is on file. None of that has been checked against the state registry, and directory license entries are often stale or wrong — so ask him for his current license number and confirm it with the Commonwealth yourself. For a straightforward gas or water-heater job in the MetroWest towns, he has done that work for years. Pin down the license and get the scope in writing before anything starts.
