Maximum Inspection Services is Jeff Albert, working on his own out of Pearson Street in Haverhill and inspecting condos, townhouses, and single- and multi-family homes for people buying and selling them. He describes starting the company in 2009 after a career in building science, and the listings put him at seventeen years in the trade. The work goes wider than a standard buyer's walkthrough. Alongside complete home inspections he offers radon testing, water testing, mold assessments, asbestos-in-building inspections, non-residential lead paint testing, and building damage repair estimates written for insurance companies — the kind of range that comes from an environmental and insurance background rather than from general contracting. The customer record is one of the stronger ones you will find for a one-man practice, and it is also getting old. Both listings that carry ratings show 4.9 out of 5 across thirty-six ratings, with the distribution running 94 percent five-star and 6 percent four-star and nothing below four anywhere. The written accounts span 2019 to early 2025, and the praise is consistent in a way that is unusually specific for inspection work: reports described as more detailed than ones customers had received before, findings explained on site as the inspection proceeds rather than only in writing, and follow-up questions answered after the report was delivered. Several reviewers were first-time buyers who said the findings changed what they paid or what the seller fixed. The set reads as genuine rather than manufactured — accounts run from one line to several hundred words, name the same inspector across six years, quote actual prices, and include a four-star among them. Two things to weigh. The two platforms carrying those ratings are the same review network showing the same reviews, so the apparent volume is one audience rather than two independent ones, and one reviewer says outright that is where they found him. And nothing has been written in well over a year, so none of it describes how he is working now. On credentials, neither listing prints a licence number of any kind — only their standard notice that licence claims are self-reported. Massachusetts licenses home inspectors through the Board of Registration of Home Inspectors, so ask for his registration number and check it there before booking, along with a sample report and current references.

$400. Jeff was great. He was right on time, spent 2 hours checking the property, which involved 14 +ft ceiling beams that he checked with his ladder in multiple areas. He was kind enough to call a friend who lived in the building and have him come and tell us his experiences there. I would highly recommend him! (Complete Home Inspection)

Jeff was awesome. The house we are buying was in excellent overall condition. Jeff did an incredibly thorough inspection that I attended. His inspection report was comprehensive and identified a number of electrical hazards, potential plumbing hazards, and minor concerning items that I was able to bring up with the Seller. I got all of the hazards fixed and got some Seller credits for items like small areas of rotten siding and roofing that was at the end of its useful life. Jeff helped answer my questions after he completed the inspection report. We also ordered a radon and water test and Jeff got those results back to us promptly. Overall, I highly recommend working with Jeff for your home inspection -- his services are well worth the money, and he's a pleasure to work with. Thanks Jeff! (Complete Home Inspection)

Jeff was great! He walked us through all the complexities of his inspection, explaining as he went. He showed us some of the major operations of the house we were purchasing and recommended maintenance schedules, etc. It was comforting to have such an expert guiding us through the process. I would definitely recommend Jeff to any friend or family member who is nervous about the home their looking to buy. (Complete Home Inspection)
