McBrien's Fire & Flue is a Hooksett chimney company that installs liners and caps and repairs chimney masonry, and it holds 5.0 stars from 106 ratings on Angi. One customer had stainless steel liners installed in two chimneys for almost half the price another company quoted, and said they did only the work that actually needed to be done. A homeowner whose flue showed creosote buildup and cracked clay tiles after a chimney fire got proposals from probably five contractors and chose McBrien because they felt confident in its expertise and honesty. The crew, led by Eric, showed up on time, and the work was completed as promised, at the price promised and on time. One customer said Omar gave a fair and realistic price for stainless steel pipes for a fireplace and a furnace, full masonry work on the chimney, flashing and caps, and that Omar and his crew finished in one day. A customer with what appeared to be a leak down the side of the chimney got a prompt estimate and a detailed analysis, with photos, of the failed flashing; a two-man team made the repairs and mounted a cap that was missing. Omar and his technicians stayed into the night to finish one liner and chimney cap install through tough conditions in the chimney. Jorge sent pictures of the flue's condition throughout one oil-fired chimney job, and a customer whose simple chimney clean turned into a few repairs said Jorge and Marvin probably spent an hour helping them understand chimney mechanics.
Clean and Inspect a wood burning stove or pellet stove$125The guys that cleaned my chimney were great. Very polite and respectful.
The team at McBrien’s was great to work with. They were prompt, professional, and courteous. We appreciated all of their assistance and highly recommend them!
What was supposed to be a simple chimney clean became a few varying repairs. Bit of a bummer but thankfully we had Jorge and Marvin to help us with it. Something that was really appreciated is the amount of photos they took to show the before and after. The things about roofs and chimneys is you kind of just have to blindly trust the experts but these guys do so much to make sure that you can understand and see what’s going on. They probably spent an hour helping me understand chimney mechanics alone! I appreciate that so much especially when it comes to complicated repairs. Show moreRuth
