A leaking sleeve around a through-the-wall air conditioner brought one customer to McCabe and Son Home Improvement. In a June 2020 Google review, the customer said the company replaced the metal sleeve, responded promptly to an email, and came the next day to inspect the damage and provide an estimate. The customer described the price as reasonable and said the crew arrived on time for the job, completed the work carefully, and left the living room as they found it. McCabe and Sons removed and replaced the sleeve for my through the wall air conditioner - it's basically a big metal box that sits in the wall and holds a big air conditioner. The old sleeve was installed when my condo was built in the late 80's and had started leaking. They responded to my email right away and came the next day to take a look at the damage and give me an estimate. It was a very reasonable price for the work. On the day of the job, they came on time and were courteous and respectful. They did a professional job and made sure the work was done correctly. They picked up after themselves and left my living room the same way they found it. I would definitely recommend McCabe and Sons to anyone who needs work done around the house - they do all kinds of jobs, so definitely reach out to them.
