I’ve used Sean for just about everything at my home. Whole house generator hookup, electric attic fan, recessed lighting etc etc. I couldn’t be happier with the professionalism, care, suggestions and pricing. I won’t be going to anyone else for my electrical work. Couldn’t recommend more!
has done several jobs at my house, standby generator, welder outlet as well as a 50 amp RV power outlet, great electrician and great communication
Came out to give me an estimate several months ago and never came back. I tried following up with several texts and phone calls but no response.
I feel compelled to write this review because I think it has been far too long since this outstanding business last received not only a review, but one of which it is most deserving. I had the very good fortune of connecting with Sean the same evening I discovered I needed to replace an electrical (breaker) panel. Sean was very courteous, understood the scope of the work, and asked for photos of the panel so he could get started right away the following morning. Mind you, my coworkers were astonished when I told them Sean was able to begin the job so quickly! When I spoke with Sean over the phone, he quoted me a price that was extremely reasonable given what I had read online about how much replacing a breaker panel usually costs (his price was in the lower end of the band, which is extremely fair especially in light of the fast turnaround time!). Sean arrived when he said he would, and the job took approximately the amount of time he predicted (a little less, actually, since things went so well). Among the aspects of Sean’s work I appreciated most was the fact that he minimized the time my place would be without power by getting things ready in advance so he could quickly bring the lights (and refrigerator) back on. It may sound like a simple thing to do, but it is a sign of a seasoned worker when that person stages materials and otherwise preps in advance of a job to ensure its success. Overall, this was a great experience! Sean is a true professional whose electrical skills and discerning eye for quality work and materials have established him as my go-to guy for any future electrical work I may need. By the way, his quote held true. I paid what he quoted, which is rather impressive! Sean is the real deal, and I am very happy to have had such a pleasant experience with him.
I contacted McDonald Electric to install all the necessary components -- beaker, cable, 50 amp plug, etc. - for an electric vehicle charger. A good deal of electrical and mechanical knowhow goes into that process. I was impressed at every phase by Sean's competence, patience, professionalism, fairness and friendliness. His price was very competitive and I was/am especially grateful for his willingness to explain each step of the process. Highly recommended.
