McGourty Company is a Braintree general contractor and developer that's been family-run since 1989 — founded by Brian McGourty and, per the company, led by him ever since with a goal of delivering quality work at a fair price. It handles both commercial and residential jobs, plus site work, property management and preconstruction services, and its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. There isn't much written record to draw from — just one review, from 2024 — but it describes exactly the kind of relationship a decades-old firm tends to build: a repeat client said McGourty had done about half a dozen projects for them ranging from $10,000 to $500,000-plus, calling every one "as close to perfect as one could expect" and adding they'd referred "countless people" who were also satisfied. Its Better Business Bureau profile carries an A+ grade (it's not BBB-accredited), and Houzz lists typical job costs in the $50,000–$2,500,000 range, consistent with the larger-scale work the review describes.
