McGuire Services, LLC

Lawn treatments are the work customers describe most specifically for McGuire Services, LLC. The Shrewsbury business lists fertilizing and treating lawns, caring for trees and shrubs, mosquito and tick control, and perimeter pest control on Angi and HomeAdvisor. Angi shows a 4.8-star average from 31 ratings, and its profile describes a Connecticut and Massachusetts service region. The BBB gives the company an A+ grade and lists it as accredited. The written customer accounts date from 2017 through 2022. In October 2017, a new customer said Dan arrived on time for a first fall fertilizer treatment and blew the driveway clear of leftover pellets. Another customer writing that month said the company explained its services and laid out a lawn-treatment plan for the following season. An April 2018 reviewer said McGuire responded first, inspected the property in person and submitted a thorough treatment plan. An April 2019 reviewer identified Dan as the owner and praised his lawn treatment, saying it did not seem to cost much more than doing the work themselves. That customer was still waiting for the grass to become active again after hiring the service the previous spring. A separate May 2019 customer praised how their lawn looked. There was also a cleanup and communication complaint. In May 2018, a reviewer said excess fertilizer pellets remained on the driveway and sidewalk, and that an email asking for a correction had gone unanswered for almost a week, despite the company using email for the quote and invoice. McGuire has also plowed driveways: a January 2018 reviewer said their parents recommended the company for its work on their driveway and reasonable prices.
