McKenzie Septic pumps septic tanks around Claremont, and a recent Google customer who uses it for routine tank pumping describes it as an owner-operated local business serving the Claremont area since the 1970s. That customer said he shows up on time, takes care not to tear up the yard or leave a mess, and prices honestly with no surprises. For a recent customer having a septic tank pumped for the first time, Cory, named in that review as the owner, worked out the size and shape of a tank the purchase documents listed as "unknown." He recommended a pumping schedule based on their usage, explained common indicators of a problem, and was reasonably priced, that customer said. A recent customer who left a voicemail got a return call, scheduled the pump-out, and said they showed up on time and charged reasonably. A recent caller outside the service area said the company promptly returned the call and pointed them to someone who did serve it. A 2025 customer said McKenzie Septic had pumped and serviced their septic in Newport for years and that Corey was always responsive to a message. In a 2022 review, a customer said Corey came out to pump their septic tank and called the price very reasonable.
“McKenzie out of Newton does good work.”
“He and his son, Jake, owned and operated McKenzie Septic Service together for many years before Jack sold his portion of the business to Jake and became fully retired.”
McKenzie Septic has handled my routine tank pumping for a while now. It's an owner-operated local business that's been serving the Claremont area since the 1970s. He shows up on time, takes care not to tear up your yard or leave a mess, and the pricing is honest with no surprises. This is the kind of business worth supporting.
A+. Could not be better. Called and left a message on vm. Got the return call and scheduled the pump out. They showed up on time, did the job, and charged reasonably. There competition has not returned my call yet.
Did not service our area but I am giving them 5 starts because they promptly returned my phone call and directed me to someone who did. It is amazingly hard to reach a septic company or plumber in this area so I appreciated the timely response!
Cory, owner of McKenzie Septic, was responsive, professional, timely and knowledgeable. He was able to determine the size and shape of our tank, as this was our first time having our septic pumped at our property and the size was “unknown” on the purchase documents. He recommended a schedule for pumping given our usage, educated us on common indicators of a problem, and was reasonably priced. We’ll definitely continue to do business with Cory at McKenzie Septic.
McKenzie Septic has pumped and serviced our septic in Newport for years. They are terrific - Corey is ALWAYS responsive if you leave a message, prompt, and courteous. Great to work with!
