McNair Electric customers describe panel upgrades, recessed lighting and home wiring, but an October 2025 customer reported having to hire another electrician to redo unfinished panel work. Angi lists 4.6 stars from 14 ratings, Google lists five stars from two, and BBB gives the business an A+ grade. Written reviews span 2023–2025. The October 2025 Angi reviewer said they hired Anthony months earlier to install an owner's panel at a rental property. They described incomplete work, months of unanswered calls or delayed replies, and paying another electrician to redo the job. The reviewer said they intended to sue for their money back; that statement describes their intention, not a filed case or court finding. A February 2024 Google customer described a different panel job: Anthony upgraded the panel and meter to 200 amps, communicated clearly and passed inspection without issues. In September 2023, an Angi customer said he installed recessed lights in several rooms, upgraded old outlets and added smart devices at a reasonable price. Another customer that month described living-room and bedroom lighting upgrades with progress updates and answers to questions. Some customers had already hired him more than once. A September 2023 reviewer identified Anthony as the owner and said they had used him for additional projects, finding him reliable on each. Other 2023 reviewers praised punctuality and prices compared with competing quotes. An April 2025 EV-charging-station customer praised the completed job and said they were arranging another project. The company's BBB description advertises wiring upgrades, lighting and generator installation. Angi also lists panel upgrades, work for additions and remodels, exterior lighting and EV charging stations. Its Connecticut electrician licence, ELC.0207895-E1, is active under Anthony C McNair.
Fraud! I hired this man months ago to place an owners panel at my rental property. He half ass did the job and then never came back. I called him for months no answer or reply?s were days & weeks later. I now have to sue this guy for my money back and also had to hire another electrician to redo the job. Anthony in my opinion is a horrible business man

Anthony was amazing very professional and very helpful with all of my concerns. He was on time and did a great job. I got a quote from a local contractor who was absolutely the most dishonest company that I have ever seen. I would definitely recommend Anthonys company for all of your electrical needs hands down 100 percent . Thank you McNair Electric for a excellent job
