A carefully cleaned kitchen and an unfinished whole-house deep clean both appear in recent customers’ accounts of Merry Maids of Holyoke. Google lists a 4.6-star average from 114 ratings. The company advertises recurring and one-time home cleaning, including deep cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, and post-construction cleaning. It says it serves Agawam, Amherst, Belchertown and Holyoke, offers free estimates, is insured and has 40 years in business. In an August 2026 Google review, a customer credited the Diaz team with cleaning every crevice of the kitchen and said the apartment looked new afterward. A September reviewer described the father-and-son team Dion & Dion working efficiently in a very small space while accommodating the customer’s physical and emotional disabilities. The customer also praised their caution and kindness around three emotional support pets. Another customer praised Eric’s diligence and courtesy after a cleaning visit. In a February 2026 review, a repeat customer said the company had exceeded expectations on challenging jobs. The June 2026 complaint concerns a deep clean intended to cover the entire house. The customer said two cleaners spent five hours upstairs, did not clean downstairs and left without speaking to them. A different cleaner returned on Wednesday but, according to the customer, completed only about a third of the downstairs cleaning; the kitchen, dining room and den remained unfinished.

I highly recommend this company. The service provided to me was outstanding. The father/son team Dion & Dion worked together incredibly well. They were extremely courteous and very efficient. My physical and emotional disabilities were accommodated to with the utmost compassion and consideration. They adapted to the very small space available in which to work easily. Which was made more difficult for them due to my having 3 emotional support pets. One who kept escaping her confinement and darted around their feet. Though, my worries were quickly relieved thanks to Dion & Dion responding to my guinea babies with extreme caution and kindness. Guinea babies who normally are very skittish. Yet they were very comfortable with these two gentlemen. I'm incredibly grateful for their kindness and amazing service.
The Diaz team was AMAZING! I couldn’t have asked for better cleaners. They spent a lot of time on details and made sure everything was perfectly clean before they left. They got in every crevice of the kitchen and it looked like a new apartment when they left. Couldn’t recommend them more!
Had a team of 2 come on Friday and took 5 hours to clean upstairs. They didn’t even come downstairs to clean. Not sure what took 5 hours but they left without talking to me- I was hanging out in my backyard. Another cleaner came today ( Wednesday) to clean downstairs but only did about 1/3 of the cleaning. Still had kitchen, dining room and den unfinished. This was supposed to be a deep cleaning for the entire house
We just wrapped up with Eric and absolutely could not be happier! Eric did a fantastic job and was diligent and courteous. Looking forward to future visits. This has helped us immensely. Thank you so much!
Having enlisted the services of Merry Maids on more than just a few occasions, I can honestly report that they provide nothing less than excellence on every job. Some of the jobs that I(we) have asked of them have been very challenging, and every time they have exceeded expectations! Always professional, always excellent.
