Most of the 15 permits shown on BuildZoom, spanning 2016–2025, are for roofing and decks, including two Lowell reroofs in August 2025. In a 2023 BuildZoom review, a homeowner said Michael Comerford installed new roofs on two properties, then helped with painting and small handyman projects; the reviewer described him as responsive and reliable. Massachusetts lists Comerford’s home improvement contractor registration, 180726, as active. BuildZoom separately listed his construction supervisor license, CS-109856, as active when checked in July 2026. The written customer history is one review, so ask for recent references and a comparable roof project before booking.
Mike has installed a new roof on two of my properties. He does a great job. He has also painted for me and helped me with small handyman projects. He is responsive, reliable and trustworthy.
