Micheal fine wood finishing

Micheal fine wood finishing is an Upton, MA furniture refinishing and repair shop, and most of the people who hire Micheal bring him family pieces: a grandmother's 1930 gooseneck rocker, an 80-plus-year-old dining set, an 1850s armoire. It holds a 5-star Google average across 45 ratings, with written reviews running from 2022 to 2026. In a July 2026 review, a customer with a walnut dining table that was rough to the touch and the wrong color heard back the same day, had Micheal look at it the next day, signed a contract, and got the table back from his workshop two weeks later. A May 2026 customer had an inherited dining set of eight chairs and a table refinished and reupholstered. Earlier reviews describe the same kind of work: a broken mahogany nesting table leg repaired and refinished in March 2026, a couch frame section replaced with stronger wood in January 2026, a Stickley coffee table refinished in October 2025. Customers from earlier years add detail on how he works. In a January 2025 review, a customer whose late grandfather's bench had rotted said Micheal was upfront about price, suggested ways to save on parts of the project, and finished before the agreed timeline. A 2023 customer who had an 18th-century gate leg card table and a tiger maple table top restored said he is fair with pricing and will say when a piece is not worth restoring. In March 2024, he came out on short notice to repair a dining table with loose legs before a family dinner and had it back together the next day. The work goes beyond loose furniture: a June 2023 customer had solid wood kitchen and bath cabinets refinished in under two days, and a July 2023 customer had a ceiling and pegboard wall installed in a storage room.
